Applications for the 2026–27 session are open now and are processed on a rolling merit basis. Seats in each programme are limited, and early applicants are considered first for merit scholarships.
The degree is awarded by the affiliating university, not by the institute. Depending on the programme this is Utkal University, Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) or Berhampur University. Each course page names the awarding university, and all of them are UGC-recognised.
A pass in 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board, with a minimum of 45% aggregate for the General category and 40% for SC/ST candidates. Some programmes additionally require Mathematics or a related subject at 10+2 level — the exact rule is stated on each course page.
Yes. Every programme offers a three-instalment schedule across the academic year, with the exact components and due dates published on the course page. An official receipt is issued for every payment.
You receive an application number on screen immediately. Your documents are then verified, an admission counsellor contacts you by phone or email, and on approval you are sent an enrolment confirmation with the fee schedule. Keep your application number for all correspondence.
Merit scholarships are considered for applicants with strong 10+2 results, and applicants may also be eligible for state and central government schemes. Speak to an admission counsellor about which schemes apply to your case before you pay the first instalment.
